This Extension Wire will allow you to RE-locate your Air Temperature Sensor to a cooler location WITHOUT the need to cut your harness. Like the POWER WIRE, the EXTENSION WIRE is a PLUG & PLAY mod that leaves your factory harness in-tacked. We use FACTORY STYLE plug connectors for a weather tight seal.

This Intake Air Temp Sensor Extension wire resembles our Popular POWER WIRE, and everything is the same except that the EXTENSION WIRE does NOT alter the signal to the PCM... All it does is extend your harness 24".
This is the fix for those who have gone with aftermarket induction systems and found the Air Temp Sensor harness will not reach your new intake. DO NOT CUT YOUR WIRES to extend your plug, just use our extension wire to add an additional 24" to your harness.
This wire also gives you the ability to REMOVE it at will with no trace that it was ever installed... This is help full when dealing with your service department.

EXTENSION/SPLICER (EX-SPLICER) WIRE OPTION This wire is basically an extension wire modified with two exposed leads which allows you to add your own choice of resistance. You could use a resistor or even an adjustable POT resistor simply by tapping into the two exposed leads. You can use this PLUG & PLAY SPLICER wire to relocate your sensor to a cooler location or to make your own "POWER WIRE", it's cheaper to use this wire then it is to repair your factory harness. No need to CUT YOUR WIRES to extend your plug. And it allows you the freedom to pick your own resistance for a specific application. This SPLICER WIRE allows you to relocate your sensor without damaging your harness or leaving any trace of modification after removal (Great for when you take it in for service).
We have many customers who have used this wire to make their own AIT mod. You can add your choice of resistor in-line to gain the desired effect. Modify the cheaper EX-SPLICER WIRE instead of cutting into your expensive harness and damaging your vehicle.
