XP1 Performance NAG1 W5A580 WA580 Transmission

Our W5A580 transmission is on sale. The W5A580 or WA580 is a NAG1 series automatic transmission. This transmission is electronically controlled with a triple disc clutch system for driving and an additional two freewheeling clutches. The W5A580 has 5 speeds with a fifth-year that was meant to be an overdrive. NAG1 transmissions were specifically designed for use in Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Mercedes vehicles. When WA580's came from the factory they were plagued with their fair share of problems. This transmission and torque converter was very sensitive to water intrusion and fluid quality. The original manufacturer recommends a three time flush. In addition there was O-ring leakage, vibrations and and shifting difficulties especially the 4-5. We have taken time to systematically address the W5A580 transmissions shortcomings in order to bring you a completely revised unit topped with a performance lockup transfer case all at an unbelievably low price.

This warranty is completely transferable

This is a nation wide warranty that extends throughout the continental united states.

We do not charge restocking or shipping fees when a transmission qualifies for a warranty.

Restocking and shipping fees are only applied if a customer wants to return a non defective transmission or is outside the continental United States.

There are no mileage restrictions to your coverage.

Buyers warranty begins at original date of purchase and expires 3 years thereafter

Commercial vehicles will default to an 18 month warranty.

We Cover Parts and Labor:

Labor will be paid in accordance with our standardized book time and rates.

Work may only be completed by a certified shop.

This warranty does not cover any of the following:

Use of engine, clutches, transfer case, drive line, and/or differential for purposes for which it was not originally designed (such as off-road, race car, etc).

Abuse, neglect, accident, or improper towing.

Improper installation and maintenance, including failure to fill the unit with proper fluid and maintain adequate levels.

Charges that may have incurred from towing or vehicle rental.

Loss of time, inconvenience, vehicle usage loss, commercial loss or consequential damages.

Failure because of defects or inefficiencies or parts or assemblies not furnished with the transmission (flywheel, clutch, drive shaft, etc).

We are not liable for misuse or negligence causing damage, defect, injury, or loss. For warranty to be valid installation must be done by a ASE Certified mechanic or shop.
