ACT Twin Disc Maxx Xtreme clutch kits offers twice the number of disc surfaces for better wear, heat capacity, and longer life. Designed for quiet operation, with no floater rattle or posts to wear out, ACT twin discs undergo an exclusive 4-stage, heat-treating process on all diaphragms—and they have the ability to adjust for disc wear and provide equal disengagement for discs. The kits include dynamically computer-balanced pressure plate and a CNC-machined flywheel for trouble-free installation and smooth operation at high rpm. The kits are available with either lightweight 6-pad rigid race discs made with high-quality ceramic friction materials, or performance street rigid-hub discs featuring premium organic materials with a high copper content and steel-backed linings. Both feature heat-treated chromoly hubs.
