AFIS spark plug wire sets have been developed for high performance street cars and racing cars. They feature a spiral-core design that contributes very low resistance at 50 ohms per foot. Low resistance means that more current is transmitted to the spark plug, while still maintaining RFI/EMI suppression. This prohibits any stray static signals from sending the wrong signal to the computer or spark control box. Electrical current is transmitted through inductive spiral alloy windings, with the center featuring a strong, heat-resistant Aramid fiber core coated with a reactive layer to provide a secondary electrical path. They're covered with a high-grade insulator and are topped with a thick layer of silicone to provide maximum protection.
