Constructed from mandrel-bent steel tubing with 3/8 in. thick die-stamped flanges, the exhaust units are available in tube diameters to fit a variety of engine sizes. (Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer; this includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts, and bushings, etc.) If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom-altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. BBK shorty headers offer finish options such as chrome, ceramic coated, or polished stainless steel; and all gaskets and mounting hardware are included.

Important notes: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat. Hooker recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage. We do not recommend the use of header wraps as this will void the warranty.
